Requirements for maintenance according to the NBN standard
A standard came into effect on July 1, 2001, according to which fire extinguishers must be checked. This NBN S 21-050 standard shows maintenance procedures and activities in detail.
This standard NBN S 21-050 provides:
- Annual maintenance by an expert person. Every Saval service technician is ODB trained;
- After twenty years, extinguishers must be replaced and taken out of use.
