Fire hydrant

Every building higher than 20 meters must have a dry riser, with its own supply connection on the ground floor and connection points on each floor.

A fire hydrant is placed on each floor. These fire hydrants (according to DIN14461 part 3) are made of brass and have an oblique outlet (25°). Dimensions: 1,5" / 2" / 2,5" inlet and outlet.

Each fire hydrant must be equipped with a CC-connection. With the aid of a CC-connection, the fire brigade can connect the fire hoses directly to the dry riser in the event of an emergency.
